Consultancy

A thinking partner, not an inspector.

I work alongside schools, agencies and teams of adults supporting children — looking carefully, asking useful questions and helping you find the next practical step for the children you are most concerned about.

How I can help

Classroom observations

Time spent watching what actually happens — the environment, the demands, the moments before things escalate.

Case discussions

Structured, reflective conversations about the pupils who are keeping your team awake at night.

Strategy meetings

Working with leaders to turn insight into a plan your setting or service can realistically sustain.

Staff coaching

Individual or small group coaching for staff supporting complex pupils.

Practical recommendations

Clear, prioritised actions written for busy people — not a report that sits in a drawer.

Support for individual pupils

Focused input where one child's needs have outgrown the usual provision.

Whole team thinking

Reviewing systems, language and expectations across a school or service so understanding is shared, not held by one person.

Collaboration, not judgement

Schools, agencies and support teams are already doing a great deal, often with limited time and stretched capacity. My role is not to arrive with a checklist and tell you what you already know.

It is to bring a fresh pair of eyes, notice what might be missing, and leave your team feeling more confident and more certain about what to do next.

The best outcome is a team that needs me less, because its own understanding has grown.
